At Akai, the private entrance led through the kitchen of Musume was very cool, very VIP, except for waiting in a line in a restaurant for your turn to enter. But inside, Akai is less of a speakeasy and more a private club with bouncers and scantily clad waitresses who bring flaming bottle service around to loud partying booths. This is great if this is your style, however, it was very much not what we we expected or were thrilled about.
